Ohhh man, we don't think we can wait until 2014 for this! Karl Lagerfeld is helping design his own island (YES island), which will be situated just off the coast of our very own Dubai! The Chanel designer has teamed up with Oppenheim architecture firm and KOR hotel group to create the man made island which will consist of 150 fashion themed villas, top of the range boutiques, and luxury hospitality facilities. Apparently Isla Moda will be set to host exclusive international events, all of which will feature high profile designers. The island will also host fashion shows and limited edition product launches. Eeek, we cant wait to see how this turns out! We'd definitely love to be deserted on THAT island :)
